Mobile Loaves & Fishes has embarked on a new and innovative journey to transform how we care for the chronically homeless in our community. We have recently launched and developed Community First! Village, a 51-acre master planned community that provides affordable, permanent housing and a supportive community for the disabled, chronically homeless in Central Texas. And we are now embarking on a second phase of community expansion, adding more than 300 new neighbors over the next 5 years. About the Maintenance Position The Preventative Maintenance Technician is an integral part of the Construction & Maintenance Department. The Preventative Maintenance Technician will focus on performing the duties necessary to keep the residential and communal buildings maintained and repaired on a consistent schedule throughout the year. Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for conducting preventative maintenance on RVs, park homes, commercial buildings, and tiny homes throughout the community; including cleaning AC coils and filters, sealing RV roofs and more Keep detailed track of preventative maintenance progress and report to Director of Maintenance Responsible for knowing and understanding all job paperwork, plans and specs, and communicating supply needs to the Purchasing Coordinator Responsible for checking all materials received for quantity, dimensions, and damage Assist the Maintenance and Construction teams with individual tasks when necessary Perform job duties in accordance with safety policies and procedures and report any safety hazards or concerns to the Safety team Attend daily team meetings, monthly all staff meetings, and other meetings deemed necessary Other Duties & Responsibilities as needed Mobile Loaves & Fished is a faith-based organization with its ideals and philosophy coming directly from the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
