County To Begin Improving 285 Miles Of Roads With Rescue Funds

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — Hillsborough County will put its $35 million in American Rescue Plan Act funds to work by improving 285 miles of roads around the county. During Wednesday's Hillsborough County Commission meeting Wednesday, the commission agreed to devote the bulk of its federal funds to bolster the county's deteriorating roadways including resurfacing eight major roadway corridors and 89 neighborhood roads and repairing 32 roads.
