The Detroit Area Art Deco Society invites our Annual Holiday Mix and Mingle. Members are invited to enjoy an evening of holiday cheer. Our annual meeting update will include a presentation of our annual Preservation Award to the 2021 honoree, the Zainea family. Also, we will present our Eastern Michigan University Historic Preservation Scholarship Award. Thursday, December 2nd, 6:30 - 9:30  CELEBRATING THE END OF PROHIBITION  WELCOME, ALL FLAPPERS AND GANGSTERS! DRESS LIKE IT'S 1933 LOCATION: POPS for ITALIAN  We're offering new members a $25 join-and-go price. Your $25 ticket includes a choice of two select wines, beers or bubbles, and delicious appetizers along with a chance to mix and mingle with other collectors and bid on silent auction holiday items. Your $25 investment also includes a one-year membership in the Detroit Area Art Deco Society. The Detroit Area Art Deco Society, a private not-for-profit corporation was founded in 1986 by a group of collectors and enthusiasts interested in the Decorative objects, architecture and style of the Art Deco period.
