STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — The Tobacco & More store on Garrisonville Road in Stafford was robbed at knifepoint on Wednesday, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. Authorities said the suspect matched the description of the man who robbed a Sheetz in Stafford last week. The robbery was reported around 2 p.m. on Wednesday in the 1000 block of Garrisonville Road. In an update, the sheriff's office said the suspect, who was described as a Black man, entered the store with a knife and demanded money from an employee. After leaving the store, the man fled towards Furnace Road. Deputies canvassed the area on Wednesday, but the sheriff's office did not say whether the suspect was located. The suspect was described as a thin Black man in his late teens or early 20s. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a gray sweatshirt, dark pants, dark shoes, and a mask. The suspect was also carrying a multi-colored backpack. Authorities said that no injuries were reported during the robbery. The suspect in Wednesday's robbery at Tobacco & More matched the suspect description of a similar robbery at the Sheetz on Garrisonville Road on Nov. 11. There, a suspect presented a kitchen knife and demanded money from the register. After leaving the store, the suspect fled towards Furnace Road.
