Press release from Fairfax County Public Schools: November 12, 2021 The November 11, 2021, regular meeting opened up with a presentation of the Colors by the Hayfield JROTC under the command of Lt. Colonel Devin Ruhl/Pledge of Allegiance/Moment of Silence and a performance of the National Anthem by the Kent Gardens 5th and 6th grade chorus under the direction of Brandi Ogren and Kaylie Paik. The School Board approved a resolution renaming the McLean High School Theater Dressing Rooms for former Fairfax County School Board member Jane "Janie" Strauss. The School Board approved a resolution renaming the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology gymnasium for former Fairfax County School Board member Ilryong Moon. The School Board approved the School Psychology Awareness Week recognition. The next regular business meeting of the School Board will be on Monday, November 22, 2021.
