AUSTIN, TX — The southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 183 have reopened to traffic near Lamar Boulevard after closing its lanes due to a rollover crash Thursday morning.
The Austin Transportation tweeted around noon that the roadway has reopened to traffic. Around 9:47 a.m., Texas Department of Transportation officials closed the southbound lanes due to the crash.
As a result, motorists were detouring to the frontage road at the Lamar Blvd. exit.
