HOBOKEN, NJ — Now that all of the mail-in and machine votes in local elections have been counted, county clerks across New Jersey certified their election results Monday afternoon. Below are the final numbers in the Hoboken elections, according to the County of Hudson. Also listed below are the vote counts in Hudson County for Gov. Philip Murphy and challenger Jack Ciattarelli. Bhalla's team was well funded going into the race, amassing at least $171,000. The election for six ward council seats will be held in 2023. Meanwhile, whom did Hudson County want for governor? In the heavily Democratic county, 88,066 voters chose incumbent Philip Murphy, while 30,443 picked Republican challenger Jack Ciattarelli. Three other candidates amassed fewer than 500 votes each, and there were 81 write-ins.
