By Sarah Kuper, WNIN November 18, 2021 Youth Resources of Southern Indiana is looking for new voices for its Teen Advisory Council. For area high schoolers, being a part of the council gives them the opportunity to develop leadership skills and be an active part of change and service in the community. Students plan collaborations between diverse organizations and encourage their friends to participate. The council has been around for more than thirty years and has grown to include 130 students. Members meet every other Friday morning during the school year at 5:55 a.m. Interested students and their parents are invited to an informational meeting on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Ivy Tech Community College.
