Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator / Delivery Driver *$4,000 SIGN ON BONUS!* ($1000 after 3 months, $1000 after 6 months, and $2000 after 1 year of service) Job Brief Locally owned flooring company is looking for a Warehouse Associate to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse Associate responsibilities include receiving inventory, staging material, loading out installers, physical inventory counts, picking up material from vendors, delivering products to customers (rarely), operating a forklift, as well as operating a carpet cutting machine. Responsibilities include: Prepare and complete orders for pickup or delivery according to schedule Receiving and processing warehouse stock products (hardwood, vinyl plank, carpet) Performing warehouse inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization Complete diary logs into inventory Report any discrepancies Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers Operate warehouse vehicles and equipment Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations Requirements Proven working experience as a Warehouse Associate Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods Good organizational and time management skills Ability to lift heavy objects Forklift experience High school degree Healthcare benefits Simple IRA with Employer Contribution Paid Vacation, Sick time and Holidays On-the-job training and skill development Employee Discount Programs Growth and Advancement The shift is full-time Monday through Friday from 7am until 3 or 4pm. Opportunities exist to work overtime on Saturday mornings. The position pays $22.00 per hour As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a drug screen and background check
