Description
I run a weekly open jam at a Baker Neighborhood club, I'm looking for lead guitarists for the house band, occasionally I need a replacement main guitarist for the band or subs. Currently NO (little) money, my goal is to build up this jam and to keep it going, that's my focus, we're still coming out of Covid, the club needs help rebuilding and I'm looking to use the club as a musical home. I am looking to BUILD something of quality here, I'm looking to make this a long-lasting quality jam as well as a FUN jam, I want to have people dancing along with great music, for it to be a musical scene that could add musically to the neighborhood.
The guitarists should be musicians who preferably live locally in the area and who can share these goals. It would be helpful if you're familiar with a LOT of typical jam type material and be well-versed in many genres. The type of music includes rock and roll, blues, R&B, soul, funk, Americana, jammy, etc.
I also occasionally put together bands to back up singer/songwriters, the genres are extremely varied and include rock and roll, R&B/soul, touches of electronics, "singer/songwriter" and whatever else. I'm looking for very musical guitarists who can play well with everyone else, who are interested in creating "sonic" environments as well as typical kinds of lead guitar. Other types of musical situations can definitely always arise outside of this description. PLEASE send LINKS. I'm looking for experienced and serious and dedicated people, people who are looking to create something worthwhile and lasting.
