Wright County Government: Highway Department Provides Updates On Two County Road Projects

Press release from the Wright County Government: November 17, 2021 The Wright County Highway Department has provided a couple of project updates for County Road 118 (Fenning Avenue)/CSAH 37 in Monticello and CSAH 30 in Stockholm Township. The County Road 118 (Fenning Avenue)/CSAH 37 project has been completed for the season and opened to traffic Friday, Nov. 5. The contractor will return in the spring of 2022 to complete the remaining work, such as turf establishment, plantings in the roundabout and other minor work that wasn't completed. The CSAH 30 project was to replace a culvert on County Ditch 10 – one mile east of CSAH 5. The contractor is completing its work on CSAH 30. Barring any delays, the culvert replacement is expected to be completed today (Wednesday, Nov. 17). Backfilling, gravel placement and paving is expected to take place Thursday and Friday (Nov. 17-18) with the road reopening by the end of the week.
