Press release from the Douglas County School System: 11/17/2021 Translate Dear Parents and Guardians, Thank you for your continued support as we work to provide our students with the best possible learning experiences while keeping our students and staff members safe. As of November 8, masks have been strongly recommended, not required, in our middle schools, high schools, and administrative offices. We have continued to require masks for students, staff, and visitors in our elementary schools. Beginning Monday, December 13, masks will be strongly recommended, not required, in our elementary schools. By this time, elementary students will have had the opportunity to become fully vaccinated. Masks will continue to be required for students and adults riding a school bus. Please know that we respect our parents and their decisions regarding vaccination for their children.  Again, thank you for your support as we work to make the best decisions for our students and staff.
