If you see your pet make note of the Animal ID# and come in person to the shelter located at 7077 Elmwood. Open from 9:00-6:00 7 days a week (close at 5:00 on Sundays). If you dont see your pet file a lost report here https://kcpetproject.org/services/lost-pets/.. MAKE SURE TO ATTACH A PHOTO. If your pet is microchipped contact the microchip company and confirm that your phone number is up-to-date. A microchip is your pets best chance of making it back to you but only if your contact information is correct. You can always reach out to the facility that implanted the microchip if you dont know what the microchip number is.
