Job description Part Time leading to Full Time Opportunity: Seeking self-driven, highly motivated, hard-working individuals for special event installs. We are currently rebuilding a safety conscious, team atmosphere. If you are hands-on, tired of working a boring 9-5 and want a flexible schedule… Or you are already working a 9-5 and want extra money in your pocket… Then we are the perfect place for you! Basic Requirements: Dependability: consistently on time and ready to work Follow instruction, respond to management direction Safely load & unload trucks Solid work ethic Able to safely lift and carry 50lbs Personal reliable transportation to & from the job site (MD, DC, VA) Personal tools Available to work nights and weekends as requested Ability to act and work independently with minimal direction Able to consistently prioritize and meet deadlines; installs are highly time sensitive Communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal team and vendor partners Ideal Candidate will excel in the following areas: Carpentry experience Rigging Experience in Ceiling Treatments Ability to drive Non-CDL box trucks Planning/organizing; prioritize and plan work activities; use time efficiently Problem solving; identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and skillfully analyze information Quality control: demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; monitor own work to ensure quality; apply feedback to improve performance Adaptability: adapt to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands; deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events Ability to travel Attention to detail Thrive in a team environment About Us: Ranked by Special Event Magazine in the top 50 special event companies worldwide, Revolution Event Design & Production is a creative powerhouse!
