What our maintenance technicians do (this list is a general synopsis, not all inclusive): Provide outstanding customer service! Complete work order repair requests for our renters Prepare homes that have been vacated, to be rented by new households typically within 5-7 business days Ensure the safety of the properties through routine and preventative maintenance Ensure the properties and their assets maintain their expected value through routine and preventative maintenance Work with the community manager to maintain safe, healthy, financially strong rental communities and properties Show up for work each day, put in an honest day’s work, and get paid to do it 😊 What we have: This technician would be part of a team that services approximately 265 +/- units in the city of Green Bay, including single family homes, duplexes, apartment buildings, and a small handful of commercial sites There is a full maintenance workshop for parts, repair work and storage The maintenance technician position reports directly to the community manager What we need: Someone who is a jack of all trades, who must have skills in: Electrical Plumbing Carpentry/drywall/painting Cleaning Basic landscaping Basic technology skills for navigating our work order system and willingness to learn Good clear communication skills and organized Must be able to push, pull, lift up to at least 50 lbs. What we would like, but are willing to teach/learn on the job: HVAC, heating and cooling repair skills Appliance troubleshooting and repair skills Flooring repair skills, like small vinyl patching, carpet stretching, laminate gluing What YOU need to be successful with us: Your own tools to work in the skills noted above Reliable transportation to travel between rental locations and to/from parts stores (appropriate vehicle allowance provided) A good attitude and self motivation NO DRAMA Professionalism, tact and the ability to be discreet when working with our renters/residents Good attendance Honesty and care about doing a job well done Impact Management Group is an equal opportunity employer who wants to make YOU a part of the team!
