Avila Beach Golf Resort is looking to hire a full-time reliable and punctual mechanic for their golf course maintenance equipment. Requirements: CA drivers license Working knowledge of gas and diesel engines Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical troubles including hydraulic and electrical systems Ability to read equipment manuals to troubleshoot Working knowledge and operation of golf course equipment is a plus but not required Tools are provided Ability to use welding equipment is a plus Ability to communicate effectively and keep accurate records. Ability to lift 40+ pounds Bi-lingual is a plus but not required Required to do simple golf course maintenance operations on occasion Compensation and benefits: Compensation $18 - $21/hr depending on experience.
