**FT & PT Handyperson Needed for growing company ASAP**

Our busy local handyman business is growing and we are looking to hire a part-time and full time position immediately. We’ll rely on you to keep our clientele satisfied by doing semi-skilled and skilled repairs and assignments within the Oak Park, River Forest, Berwyn, Riverside and Forest Park areas. Jobs may include short repair appointments as well as medium sized repair/rehab multi-day projects. You must be well-organized with strong general repair, carpentry and drywall skills. A keen eye for detail and physical stamina are valued greatly in this job. We ask that you have your own well stocked general toolbox, a smartphone, reliable vehicle and can provide proof of vaccine. Or usual projects include: -Porch and step repair or replacement -Removal and/or replacement of plumbing and electrical fixtures -Furniture assembly or repair -Drywall patching, repair and/or replacement -Custom carpentry projects and installation -Vanity and sink repair and installation -Backsplash installation -Sink and tub caulking and grouting Our requirements: -Proven experience as handyman -Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment -Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems -Basic math skills -Good communication ability -Well organized and apt in problem-solving -Attention to detail -High school diploma or equivalent Starting rate is $15-$40 per hour depending on skill level and experience.
