Rescued Pitbull/Dachshund Mix Needs Forever Home

So the frankenpup I found laying in the road in Rubidoux a few months ago isn’t working out with our family and needs to find a forever home. Super friendly. Great with kids. Likes other dogs but likes to wrestle so some dogs get annoyed with him. Chases our cats but isn’t aggressive towards them, but the cats are *not a fan*. Not destructive. Very house trained. Neutered, vaccinated, chipped, flea medicated, the whole thing. About a year old. Best guess on mix is pit/basset/dachshund. This dude is long and short, like his back is below my knee. Why we aren’t keeping him? He can get out of our yard and we rent and can’t install different fencing to make the yard secure. This means he has to be on a lead whenever outside and it’s stressing him and us out. Also the chasing our cats thing, that’s also an issue. If you or someone you know have a secure yard and are looking for a buddy, he’s the pup for you. 😀 bonus points if you adopt him and can give us occasional updates.
