13th Annual Tour of Kitchens The Coral Gables Community Foundation is excited to announce the 13th Annual Tour of Kitchens. This year's edition of the Tour of Kitchens is a celebration featuring a self-guided tour of the City’s best pools, patios and kitchens in a safe and al fresco way. Tickets are $75. Guests will indulge in the finest gourmet samplings and desserts from the City's best restaurants and shop home goods from your favorite local merchants! Where does the Tour start? The Tour begins at 9AM the Opening Event in the courtyard at the Shops at Merrick Park. Here you will check in to receive your wristband – required to enter each home – and the Tour of Kitchens program booklet – which contains the map and addresses of all the Tour stops. Parking is available in the garage at Merrick Park. Metered parking is also available on the streets surrounding. When can I start Touring? The homes on the Tour open at 10am. The opening event/registration begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 11:00 AM. At 10:00 AM, you may begin visiting the stops in any order you choose until 2:30 PM. Each stop will contain a decadent food sample from a local restaurant, kitchen-related items for sale and a stunning table-setting display by a local store for dining room inspiration. Do I have to print my ticket? Nope! You can check in at the Opening Event at the Shops at Merrick Park with your email confirmation or just your name. You will then receive your wristband. It is important to keep your wristband on all day as you will not be granted entry into any of the stops without your wristband. Is transportation provided for the Tour? No. The Tour of Kitchens is a self-guided tour, therefore you are responsible for your own transportation. However, we offer the following fabulous transportation options so you can take the Tour in style! Take the Tour in a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van! There are no refunds. Your ticket is a charitable donation to the Coral Gables Community Foundation and the Culinary Arts Fund, which provides support and scholarships for the Culinary Arts Program at Coral Gables Senior High School. We regret that we are unable to accommodate wheelchairs or strollers. Children 10+ are not permitted without a ticket. We highly discourage the attendance of children under 10 due to the nature of the event. Alcohol will be served to adults 21+ only. Smoking and pets are not permitted in or around the stops. The Coral Gables Community Foundation is not responsible for any liability, damages or costs that may arise from participation in the Tour of Kitchens, from participating in activity involved and from any consequence involved in participation including travel to and from the Tour.
