Texas Revolution: The Fight for Freedom is the first game of a new annual Texas Revolution themed paintball event. The description below is a fictitious backstory for a paintball event and in no way reflects the views of the field, its staff, the producers, or attendees of this paintball event. Texas Revolution: The Fight for Freedom The year is 2021 and several rogue factions of Texas citizens have banded together and armed themselves under the banner of the “Texas Sovereignty Coalition”. They intend to create civil unrest through the use of guerrilla warfare to spark a rebellion. Their ultimate goal is to establish a new sovereign state and to break away completely from their current government who they believe has become too corrupt to change through legal and nonviolent means. The Federal Government, in an attempt to squash the rebellion without getting its hands dirty, has hired a para-military outfit named the "United Front Federation". This mercenary group is made of members of former special forces operatives who specialize in shadow warfare. Their objective is to identify members of the coalition, neutralize them, and foil their operations. Intel shows that operations will take place across the state with large well-known landmarks being the target of coalition forces.
