Tilt West Roundtable on Curation & Identity prompted by Jane Burke
Tilt West kicks off its sixth season of roundtables with an in-person discussion on Curation & Identity prompted by Jane Burke.
You can read Jane's thoughtful introduction to the topic, check out her bio, and find a list of suggested background materials here.
We will host this roundtable at The DU Museum of Anthropology, the site of Jane's current exhibition Another Angle: "Asian American" Art. The formal conversation will run for 90 minutes. Jane will lead off the event at 6:00 with her opening remarks, before turning over the conversation to the entire group for a non-hierarchical exchange of ideas. After the official discussion ends at 7:30, we will keep the "room" open for another 30 minutes, so that those who wish to stick around and chat informally may do so.
Registration for this roundtable will be capped at 30 participants. Please register to secure your spot. In addition, please note that our invitations are singular. If you know someone else who would be interested in this event, feel free to forward this invitation to them and encourage them to RSVP independently.
One day before the roundtable, we'll send a reminder to all registrants with location and COVID-19 safety protocol details (masks are required and each guest will need to complete a "visitor symptom survey" the day of the roundtable).
