Divine Feminine Art Class Series - 2nd Sundays Relax over tea, coffee and light bites as we chat about the many aspects of womanhood, as we study works by current artists . Then dive into expressing your creativity while learning a variety of techniques using mixed mediums to capture the female face & figure. Enjoy camaraderie at the peaceful woodland surroundings in the homey studio of Donna Blodgett. The eclectic community of Apache Shores was recently listed as one of Austin’s top neighborhoods to live, you'll find it nestled in the hill country between Lake Austin and Lake Travis just off RR 620 near Lakeway, TX. Tickets selections are for 6 months or 12 months but you may dive into the divine any time.Simply select the date you will begin. Contact the Organizer to join "Painting The Divine Feminine" even after the series begins as long as space is available. A woman:CAPTIVATES NURTURES EMPOWERS RESOLVES with GRACE. Each month we explore an aspect of womanhood through expressive art... Self Love - Purpose - Action - Power -Nurture - Faith - Grace - Serenity - Joy! Supply List:Most supplies will be provided except large canvases. Michael's has great coupons!!!Canvas:Two small canvases, or gessoed water color paper 11x14 inch, or 12 x 16, your choice Two bigger canvases 18 x 24, 40x30 inch or bigger You can choose a different format and different sizes .I recommend to go big with at least one of the paintings Your Own Brushes:An assortment of brushes- for fluid acrylics. I use soft filberts for painting faces and some hard bristle ones . Bu some wide ones and a pointy round one for details My supply of brushes available to you have been used and abused - new brushes of your own will give you the best results. Your Special Paint Colors: I will supply most paints, but if you want to also paint at home I recommend you pick up an assortment of acrylics paints (fluid bottles of inexpensive paint is fine.) You can use whatever you have. I recommend Golden for best results Recommended Colors: Teal, Titanium White, Sap Green, Jenkins Green, Phthalo Green, Ocher, Burnt Umber, Quinacridone Nickel, Azo Gold, Quinacridone, Ultramarine Blue, Pyrol Orange, Quinacridone Magenta, any Red, GOLD The white should be bigger than 1 oz
