We'd Love to Adventure with You. Are you up for a subway adventure? Do you want to know what it’s like to take the train to the plane? Join Subway Social Club for our third subway adventure in 2021. We’ll be going from Manhattan, to Queens, to Jamaica Bay, to JFK Airport, and back for an A-train adventure. What we’re doing: We’ll be meeting in front of the Apple Store in the World Trade Center Oculus. We’ll then ride a Brooklyn-bound A train for 45 mins to Rockaway Blvd in Queens. At Rockaway Blvd, we will step out of the train, share some views on the platform and some facts about the A train. After that, we’ll transfer over to a Far Rockaway bound A train, and ride across to oversee Jamaica Bay and share some more train facts. Once at Broad Channel, we’ll then transfer over back to the Manhattan-bound side. On the return trip back, we’ll get off at JFK Airport and ride the AirTrain to the Airport, sharing some facts about New York’s train to the plane. We’ll then ride the train back around JFK Airport and back where you can board a Manhattan bound A train for the return ride home. What you’ll need: $10 MetroCard for the AirTrain ride (AirTrain does not accept OMNY) MetroCard with at least $8.25, as we’ll be exiting the system at least three times What to Consider: Social distancing and masks required Trip will take 2-3 hours max Walking shoes are recommended.
