Southern Team Automall is seeking an experienced, qualified Maintenance Helper, reporting directly to the Facilities Maintenance Engineer. This hourly position is full-time and will require a working knowledge of maintenance duties with additional duties assisting in the janitorial/custodial area. The shift is 9 AM to 6 PM or 10 AM to 7 PM. Starting pay range is $15/hr to $18/hr depending on experience and skill level. Candidates must be at least 20 years of age with a valid driver's license and an excellent driving record. Candidates must have at least two years of verifiable maintenance experience that includes building construction, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical. This position requires good communication, dependability and attention to detail, along with being able to take direction and work with limited supervision. Candidates must be flexible to manage multiple projects and deadlines. This position will also assist the janitorial staff during special projects or at other times when needed. Janitorial duties can consist of standard janitorial duties including dusting, detailing, vacuuming, sanitizing, waxing, buffing and stripping floors, clean restrooms, common areas, and windows.
