The Writers Group is a group for writers based in Dallas, Texas started by Braedon Montgomery & Essence Yamani.              The Writers Group is a LGBTQ+ friendly writers group for Black & other POC based in Dallas, Texas started by Braedon Montgomery & Essence Yamani. Both writers & looking to develop a sense of community with other fellow writers, Braedon & Essence decided to team up and create a space for just that ! The Writers Group is a group founded on three key aspects, Community, Networking & Growth.  As creatives we often are at our peak when around fellow creatives & our mission is to create a space for writers to develop their craft through a interdisciplinary environment & build a community among one another while networking & growing/learning together. Through our monthly meetings we'll have book of the month discussions, writing projects, resources for our writers, events within the group for writers to showcase their work, table readings & shared project critiques (open or anonymously) & more !
