She married her grade school sweetheart, Bill, and they still attend their frequent Lakewood High School 1960 class reunions. She taught kindergarten for 25 years and still keeps in touch with her many students and their families. She wrote God’s First Christmas Gift as a nativity play that her students would perform each Christmas. Publishing this poetic play has been her lifelong dream.
