Join us for a Highland Park Poetry Live Event At Madame ZuZu's Featuring Jennifer Dotson and an open mic! This Event is Free and open to the public with a one purchase minimum. Attendance is based on first come first serve. RSVP does not guarantee entry. Open Mic Poets can bring up to 3 poems to share, each no longer than 1 page. Jennifer Dotson is the founder and program coordinator for www.HighlandParkPoetry.org. Her debut poetry collection, Clever Gretel, received the Journal of Modern Poetry First Book Award and was published by Chicago Poetry Press in 2013. Her second collection, Late Night Talk Show Fantasy & Other Poems, was published by Kelsay Books in 2020. Her poems have appeared in After Hours, Caravel Literary Arts Journal, DuPage Valley Review, East on Central, Exact Change Only, Journal of Modern Poetry, Panoplyzine, Poetry Cram, Poetry Pacific, The MacGuffin and Willow Review. Patrons may enjoy food drink at their assigned tables that are sanitized and spaced out 6ft apart prior to the event.
