Take Photos with Santa Clause at Maui Mall Village! Santa is Coming to Maui Mall Village! Come take pictures with Santa this holiday season at Maui Mall Village! In support of the Best Buddies non-profit, we are asking for a small donation to secure your reservation with Santa. Through Eventbrite reservations or walk-up reservations, take your own photos with Santa and use our customized photo booth to receive a Maui Mall Village Framed holiday photo! Santa, his elf and the photobooth will be available on Saturdays from 12 – 4pm starting Nov. 27th and on Wednesday Dec. 22nd from 5-7pm. Make a donation at the Maui Mall Village Santa Photo Station at your reserved visiting time. To hear from a Best Buddies spokesperson and more about the organization, come visit our center stage on Saturdays at 12pm through December 18th with entertainment to follow. About Best Buddies Best Buddies creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Founded in 1989 by Anthony Kennedy Shriver, Best Buddies is an international organization supporting participants in all 50 states, and in 56 countries around the world, positively impacting individuals with and without disabilities worldwide. Best Buddies programs empower people with IDD by helping them form meaningful friendships with their peers, secure successful jobs, live independently, improve public speaking, self-advocacy and communication skills, and feel valued by society. Best Buddies in Hawai’i supports nearly 400 participants through nine School Friendship chapters on Maui and 20 on O'ahu, as well as Ambassadors (leadership development) and Citizens (adult friendship) on both islands. Covid-19 Preventative Measures In compliance with Maui County's “Safer Outside” Public Health Emergency Rules, we ask all attendees adhere to the best practices regarding the most effective approaches to slow the transmission of COVID-19. Along with reservations being required, a wellness check will be taken upon arrival. Face coverings are required to be worn over noses and mouths when in public settings. Individuals are not required to wear face coverings “while outdoors." Sanitization and physical distancing is encouraged.
