This Advent, prepare yourself spiritually to open your heart and mind to the Lord...Jesus is inviting us now to "Come and See." The Basic Christian Community of Hawaii Advent Retreat will be held at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 99-312 Moanalua Road, Aiea, Hawaii, starting at 9 a.m. and ending at 2 p.m. The day's activities will include continental breakfast, Mass, inspiring speakers and lunch. Feature presentations by Msgr. Gary Secor, Sr. Mary Jo McEnany, and Sr. Maristela Umdor. Please sign up for in-person attendance by Wednesday, December 8, 2021. If within 48 hours of the event, those experiencing sickness (fever, chills, shortness of breath, coughing, fatigue, loss of taste or smell, sore throat or congestion), or have come into physical contact with a person with COVID or have travelled off Oahu within the last two weeks and have not been vaccinated must self-quarantine. For the health and safety of yourselves and others, please refrain from attending. Mask and social distancing norms must be observed at all times.
