This event is Session 1 of a two part series where our community will come together to discuss what Critical Race Theory really is. The term Critical Race Theory is being used at local school board meetings, in the press and at kitchen tables. What really is Critical Race Theory? Is it being used in classrooms? Why are parents and lawmakers talking about it? Mid-Missouri faith groups, education advocates and others have joined together to present this opportunity for a community conversation. We hope to address the questions above and many more, to start a dialogue among those in our community, all concerned with our students' education.
