Location: Blair Nebraska Salary: Full Time - $16 per hr. Hours: 4-10hr days Monday – Thursday 0 7:00 am - 5:30 pm OR Tuesday - Friday, 7:00 am until 5:30 pm Title: Waterblast and Vac Technician The Industrial Water Blast Technician will perform all duties associated with but not limited to industrial high-pressure water blasting and or industrial vacuum services in accordance with published procedures. All hours are day hours, we'll provide all uniforms and boots. We will pay for 80% of your health benefits. Call in rotation will be approximately every 5 weeks. We provide 401k with a great company match. This is an entry-level to mid-level role. Job Description We are looking for a candidate that would like a career with a global company. You will have some knowledge of industrial high-pressure water blasting or industrial vacuuming. You will be responsible for operating industrial vehicles such as skid loaders, scissors lifts, aerial lifts, forklifts, RTFL, and operating hand and power tools. Key Responsibilities *Performing assigned tasks list that include, but are not limited to, vacuuming waste and spilled products, water blast clean machines and areas, and lance clean lines and pipes. Must be able to handle up to 10,000 psi water pressure flowing through the handheld cleaning equipment. *Provide sanitation and cleaning assistance as needed for shoveling; snow removal; pesticide application; and general area clean up. *Work from elevated areas such as ladders, platforms, scaffolding, etc. utilizing fall protection equipment work in confined spaces, wear a respirator, fall protection equipment and other necessary PPE as required by the job functions. *This could include, but not limited to, special blast suits, boots and gloves as well as standard PPE equipment. *Be able to evaluate a site for safety hazards and communicate with supervisor if the area is felt to be unsafe. *Employee will be required to maintain and communicate using a company radio. REQUIREMENTS: *A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent GED *Knowledge of power washing and power washing equipment *Background check and drug screen required OTHER: *Knowledge of common facilities operations and operating tools *Great work ethic *A desire to grow within an organization PHYSICAL DEMANDS: *Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds A leader in facilities services with 65 years of experience.
