We are Mesa Verde Construction. We are a Commercial General Contractor based out of San Antonio and we are in need of an experienced Construction Superintendent in El Paso, TX. Job Duties: - Scheduling subcontractors and creating project schedules - Meeting with sub-contractors to obtain bids and change orders - Daily oversight of multiple job sites - Supervise all sub-contractors on the assigned projects - Assure work quality meets company standards - Assure sub-contractors have all materials needed to keep production flowing - Receive material deliveries and assure there are no discrepancies - Lead project mobilization - Daily reports - Have weekly progress meetings with subcontractors and clients as needed - Incident reports - Work closely with Project Manager Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: - Experience in commercial construction and tenant improvements - knowledge with project management software applications - At least 10 years of experience in commercial construction And Tenant Improvements At least 5 years of experience in construction management - Knowledge of job scheduling, planning, expediting and cost control - Ability in problem-solving - Strong sense of urgency - Professional with a positive attitude! - Excellent organizational skills. - Computer Literate and general office skills - Self-motivated and confident. - Strong communication skills. - Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. - Must have valid TX Drivers License - Must have a reliable work truck Excellent benefits and 401k.
