The Winter Warm Up is a modified-decathlon consisting of 10 Fitness Challenges that will test strength, endurance, power and fortitude!
The challenges will be split between indoor and OUTDOOR activities! Bring your hat & gloves!
ALL fitness levels welcome and ALL activities will have modification options!
The challenge consists of 5 indoor and 5 outdoor events: Tank push, push ups, pull ups, stationary row, deadlifts, 400 meter dash (or walk or jog), farmer carry, burpees, squats, AND a FUN Mystery event!
We want you to work your hardest and really push yourself, but we also want you to have FUN and be safe! You are ultimately competing with YOURSELF! There will be rankings based on gender and fitness level, but the real test comes at the April event (should you choose to participate in… which you totally should)… and we’ll see how much you’ve improved since January! ALL fitness levels are welcome!
Event check-in and registration starts at 8:30am, and the first wave of challengers will begin at 9am! There are 20 challengers per wave, and a new wave each hour, with the last wave starting at noon. All challengers will recieve a T-shirt and with the challengers doing both events they will recieve a unique T-shirt. We encourage challengers to come early and stay after to cheer on other challengers!
So here’s the scoop; we were thinking… one decathlon is cool… but you know what would be WAY cooler?? Two Decathlons! And doing them 3 months apart! Compete against yourself and others, and take your chance at winning the trophy for the most improved contender! LET’S GO!!!!
