Press release from the Town of Wakefield: November 15, 2021 The Town of Wakefield and Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) are developing a plan to provide safer and enhanced bicycle and pedestrian access in Wakefield. On a larger scale, the Mystic Highlands Greenway project aims to better connect the communities of Wakefield, Stoneham, Malden, Melrose, and Reading through their established walking and cycling network: the Malden River paths, Tri-Community Greenway, Lynn Fells Parkway, Wakefield/Lynnfield Rail Trail, and Lake Quannapowitt. Your feedback is valuable as the teams develop the plan. Please take this short survey to let them know what is working well, what can be improved, and how your experience can be enhanced. The survey closes on December 8, 2021.
