"Hello! My name is Drew and I live in southwest Berkeley with my wife, newborn daughter, and two cats. My wife and I are looking for a nice temporary home for our kitties (1 year) as we are traveling around the world for one year with our new baby. We need to find somewhere they can live from Dec 22, 2021 until Jan 1, 2023. We had someone interested that just fell through and our travels are quickly approaching. They are both VERY cuddly and interactive but also ok doing their own thing. Both girls. They are spayed and vaccinated. They are currently indoor/outdoor but will be fine indoors for they year if they need to be. We will pay for all expenses like food, litter, and vet if they need it. We also have a self cleaning litter box to lend. It is smell-free and only needs to be emptied once a week. Would you or anyone you know possibly be interested? Okay let's meet the cats: icarus is the tan and brown one and she's very adventurous and outdoorsy. She's never bitten or scratched anyone in her life. She loves to sit on laps and be pet. She even tolerates being held like a baby. She's a people person. io is the black one. She is shy and likes to hide inside, but when she warms up she is very cuddly and talkative. Loves pets on the head (not so much on the back) and likes sleeping as a pack. She rolls around on the floor chirping like a bird. It's really cute and funny.
