A year ago We rescued this beautiful affectionate, energetic, but can be laid back when you are, very shy with strangers until he knows he can trust you, we have never experienced any aggression from him, he is very sweet and is devoted to sticking by your side; especially for yummy treats. He responds in a calm voice, if you are too loud or upset he will run away, it took my son almost a month to earn his trust. He has more confidence when he's around other dogs. We have no previous history of him since we adopted him as a stray, our local animal control told us at the time he was approximately 6 years old but could be younger/older, when the opportunity arises he has a boundless energy to run around, hiking, or swimming. He loves car rides, just wants to be with family, or will eagerly await for someone to return home and prance around and whine in excitement. He needs a loving gentle person or family with older kids, a secured yard or he will take off on his own adventure and not be left outside 24/7, he is housetrained and will let you know when he needs to go outside to potty or play.
