LONG BEACH, NY — City Manager Donna Gayden has received a two-year contract extension in a vote Tuesday night. Gayden's new annual salary is listed at $203,000, according to the contract. She previously earned $190,000 per year. Council members voted 4-0 in favor of her new deal with Councilwoman Karen McInnis absent. However, her support for Gayden's extension was read into the record, a spokesperson said. Gayden was appointed Long Beach City Manager in February 2020.
