TOMS RIVER, NJ — Needy families in the Toms River area will have access to Thanksgiving meals with all the fixings as 1,000 turkeys are set to be distributed at the weekly food distribution on Friday.
Toms River Councilman Terrance Turnbach, who has been a driving force behind the food distribution since it started in March 2020, said Fulfill is providing the turkeys and food boxes with all of the fixings.

It is the 85th week of the food distribution that has served needy residents, with the food provided by Fulfill along with a number of other organizations and businesses that have supplemented the boxes with fresh produce and more.
Chef Lou from Blend on Main, who has been providing hot prepared and prepackaged meals, will provide 1,000 meals on Friday.
The distribution Friday is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Toms River on Hooper Avenue. Drive in and volunteers will put the food in your trunk or back seat. Recipients do not have to present any identification or give their name.
