Candlelight Concert Society and Residences at Vantage Point are presenting a free lecture, "The Art of the String Quartet" featuring Dr. Richard Giarusso, chair of the musicology department at the Peabody Conservatory, on Monday, Feb. 17, 7 p.m., at the Downtown Columbia retirement community. The informative and interactive presentation will provide background for the Candlelight Concert Society performance by the Schumann Quartet on Feb. 22. Registration to the lecture is requested.
