New Popeyes Now Open In Romeoville

ROMEOVILLE, IL — The new Popeyes location in Romeoville, near the intersection of Airport and Weber roads, is now open, the Village said on its Facebook. The project was first approved last year, and includes a 2,300-square-foot building with a parking lot for 30 cars. Popeyes, 421 S. Weber Road, is located in front of Blain's Farm & Fleet. The fast-food chain also has locations in Lockport, Bolingbrook, Joliet, Plainfield and on Normantown Road in Romeoville. Several other developments are underway in Romeoville, including Scene75, which is planning to open in early 2022, according to the Village. A new Starbucks on Route 53 will begin construction soon, and Mercedes-Benz, Belle Tire, and Burger King will begin construction in the spring.
