UPDATED, 11:05 a.m.: One of the people struck by the vehicle was pronounced dead. DUQUESNE, PA — Two people were injured Wednesday morning as they attempted to cross Route 837 on the Duquesne-West Mifflin border. The accident occurred near the intersection of Kennywood Boulevard-Route 837 and Hoffman Boulevard near Kennywood. The accident occurred shortly after 6 a.m. The two people were taken to an area hospital. Their condition is unknown. Route 837 southbound remains closed.
