PITTSBURGH, PA — Two men robbed a Greenfield pizza shop as an employee was locking up the business early Wednesday morning.
Police were called to Vocelli Pizza in the 4200 block of Murray Avenue around 2:30 a.m. The victim told officers he was locking up the business when two men approached him from behind and forced him back into the store.
The employee said he was struck over the head with a ladle as the men made off with the store's cash register before fleeing.
The investigation is ongoing.
