Precision Air Inc., located in Florence, SC is looking to hire a full time Aviation Parts Clerk. A successful candidate must be organized, team oriented and able to work unsupervised. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform tasks associated with the aircraft parts and tools department for an FAA Repair Station to include shipping, receiving, and inventory control • Receive parts and equipment into inventory, place items in stockroom according to the prearranged system, and update database • Conduct physical inventory audits for parts and equipment • Monitor bench stock part quantities and report shortages • Organize and maintain control of parts and tool storage • Accomplish shipping preparations and interface with shipping vendors • Issue parts and equipment to mechanics and service technicians per work orders • Maintain calibrated tooling and shelf-life tracking lists • Maintain a clean and safe work environment QUALIFICATIONS: • Knowledge of the receiving, storage, and inventory process for parts and equipment preferred. • Proficiency in using computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. • Must possess and be able to maintain a valid driver’s license. • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and adhere to random screening per company policy ABILITIES: • Ability to work in a cooperative team environment • Strong attention to detail. • Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day • Must be able to crouch, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders. • May be required to lift up to 50 pounds. • May be required to see/read dials/gauges and identify small objects • Must be able to see imperfections during parts inspection • Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear. • Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth. • May be required to operate forklift (Forklift training preferred, but not required) **Must provide resume and pay requirments, to be concidered. **
