Join us for a brief orientation on how to become a Long Term Foster parent with BCFS HHS. We are actively recruiting foster families to rise to the challenge and provide a child with a safe place to call home. There is no cost to you and we offer support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. All families interested in fostering are more than welcome to apply. Basic requirements for BCFS HHS families include: -At least 25 years of age -Viable source of income -Married or common law (respite available for single applicants) -Complete the screening process -Completion of pre-verification training requirements -Demonstrate a nurturing parenting style -Adequate bedroom space -Ability to work as a member of a team -Ability to maintain daily documentation and be in compliance with state and agency standards.
