Northbrook Natives Bring ATC's "Little Women the Musical" to Life

Northbrook native, current Columbia College student and a decade long student of the Actors Training Center of Wilmette (ATC), Sabrina Schoenberg, acts as associate director and choreographer in Louisa May Alcott's Little Women the Musical as part of ATC's Musical Theatre Intensive (MTI), running December 10, 11 and 12. Schoenberg has been preparing Northbrook residents, Dylan Hartbarger and Hannah Kelly, both 14 years old and students at Actors Training Center of Wilmette (ATC), for their roles as Rodrigo and Clarissa. Performances will take place at the Music Institute of Chicago Evanston, Puth Family Theatre, 1702 Sherman Ave. Tickets will be available for purchase at https://events.actorstrainingcenter.org/ Actors Training Center (ATC) now celebrating its 15th Anniversary, is proud to announce its inaugural holiday musical, Louisa May Alcott's beloved Little Women as part of its Musical Theatre Intensive (MTI). Audiences will witness the timeless tale of the March family sisters and be reminded of the power they have inside, to follow their dreams and rewrite their own endings. This production, inspired by Louisa May Alcott's own family tradition of hanging a curtain in the living room every Monday night to put on a show, keeps connection and imagination at its core, making audiences feel as though they have entered the living room of Orchard House. The cast has been in rehearsals since the start of September, preparing to bring this classic story to life. ATC is the Midwest's leader in preparing actors currently working in film, television and on stage; including Multi-Award Winning Actress, Rachel Brosnahan, of Amazon Prime's "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel." Their mission is to ignite passion for the performing arts at all ages and to give students a platform to use their art to effect meaningful change in their communities and the world around them.
