MALIBU, CA — An overturned panga boat was found floating near the Malibu shoreline Wednesday, but no people were found nearby. The small vessel, the type often used in immigrant-smuggling operations, was discovered about 7:20 a.m. near Pacific Coast Highway and Corral Canyon Road, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. No one was found on or near the boat, according to the sheriff's department reported. City News Service
