Press release from San Diego Community College District: November 15, 2021 Join us for the virtual 2021 International Education Week Conference. Each day is hosted by one of our Colleges. City College - November 17; Mesa College - November 16; and Miramar College - November 18. The districtwide International Education Committee is charged with advancing student global learning outcomes through the enhancement of international education opportunities throughout the district including internationalization of the curriculum, study abroad, faculty development, international partnerships, and international, global, and multicultural events and activities on campus. International education advances learning and scholarship; builds understanding and respect among different peoples; and enhances constructive leadership in the global community. The study abroad program is contingent on final administrative approval. At the present time, FS100 is the only approved ethnic studies course offered at Miramar College that meets the CSU Area F graduation requirement and Miramar is the only college in San Diego that offers a Filipino Studies Certificate of Performance.
