Since 1978, Bennett Paving, Inc. is a South Carolina owned, operated and licensed general contractor specializing in commercial and residential asphalt paving installation and maintenance with unlimited classifications in paving, grading and concrete. We pride ourselves in our exceptional service and quality of our work, we proudly serve our clients in North and South Carolina and Georgia from both our Upstate and Corporate Office and our Coastal locations. We currently have openings and are looking to hire for the following positions on our asphalt crew Asphalt crew members, lute man, asphalt paver and equipment operators, and drivers (Class A CDL license required) Responsibilities include but are not limited to: working with hot mix asphalt, raking and shoveling asphalt, ability to fill in on other position as needed, running wheelbarrow, safely backing/dumping trucks into paver, loading equipment and materials on trucks, equipment set up, cleaning, inspection, routine maintenance or minor repairs. Other duties may include traffic control and setting out barricades or cones. All positions require employees to frequently lift, stand and walk for extended periods and to guide equipment with precision. The right candidate will be a team player who is able to complete assigned work satisfactorily. Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
