ST. MICHAEL, MN — Dogs in St. Michael will no longer need a license starting next year. Pet owners in St. Michael must still maintain proof of rabies vaccinations and some form of ID for dogs and cats, like microchips, tags or collars with contact information on them, according to a news release. Booster Eligibility To Expand To All MN Adults This Week Owners must also apply for a residential kennel license if they own more than two dogs, the release states. St. Michael residents can keep up to four dogs over the age of six months, according to city regulations. Monticello provides animal control for St. Michael. Residents who have questions or need help with an animal should call the Monticello Animal Control Authority or the Wright County Sheriff's Office, the release states.
