Press release from the Detroit Regional Chamber: November 16, 2021 The U.S. Small Business Administration announced today that certain Private Non-Profit organizations (PNPs) in Michigan that do not provide critical services of a governmental nature may be eligible to apply for low-interest disaster loans. These loans are available following a Presidential disaster declaration for Public Assistance resulting from damages caused by Severe Storms, Flooding, and Tornadoes on June 25-26, 2021. PNPs located in Ionia and Wayne counties in Michigan are eligible to apply. Examples of eligible noncritical PNP organizations include, but are not limited to, food kitchens, homeless shelters, museums, libraries, community centers, schools and colleges.
